So many new choices are becoming available to the cannabis consumer (or potentially new consumer) – Let’s dive in and explore another one of these new options. Today we will be unboxing San Rafael 71’s Tangerine Dream disposable Vape pen.

Per the San Rafael website the disposable vape pen description reads as follows:
“Designed as the perfect on-the-go, introductory use vape pen. The disposables contain a one-time use, non-rechargeable battery, making it ideal for concerts, weekends away, or any time where access to electricity or paraphernalia may be an issue.”
Specifically, Tangerine Dream details are as follows:
Whether you’re solving the world’s problems or just organizing your closet, this Sativa strain with traces of citrus is the perfect pot for a new portable format.
EFFECTS: Uplifting, Energizing
TERPENE PROFILE: Limonene

Something good to know for anyone looking to experiment or new to vaping – allow this meme to explain 🤣

I need to admit that the purpose of these disposable vape pens is to demo their product and not something I would recommend for frequent repurchase. Why? Well, here are two concerns:
- Expensive: At $35.99 for a DFE of 0.6 you either need to be bat-shit crazy (guilty 🤪) or already wiping your arse with hundred dollar bills.
- Not environmentally friendly and seems a little bit wasteful if you were intending to keep repurchasing the disposable pens over and over. Besides, I hear the rechargeable units are better anyways.

OK, let’s take a look at this bad boy already. Here are some unboxing pics I took with some objects for scale – enjoy🍻

Verdict:
- Smell: No real smell from the product itself until you exhale the vape and then it is rather mild as far as smells go and perhaps a reminiscence of someone that had an orange cough drop in their throat… No weed smell to it really. You could use it in a house and not have people suspect you’ve been puffing the ganja. 👍
- Taste: Pretty damn amazing – Can I just say as advertized and leave it at that.👍
- Smooth? Absolutely! 👍
- Effects: As described – imagine that – Uplifting and a bit Energizing. 👍
Question:
- Is vaping better than other means of cannabis consumption?
I’m leaving this question unanswered and for you guys to discuss amongst each other.
San Rafael is Aurora’s top brand IMO. Note, I have tried the Aurora strains before and they were nothing special per se, but nowhere near as horrid like some others (cough cough, not mentioning any UP products, cough, cough)
I have tried this in the strain of dried flower before too had to travel out of province to get it). This vape pen is very much similar but I think this packs a bit more punch if my memory serves me correctly… which makes sense given what it is. In fact, the punch it packs is so high that a representative from NSLC Cannabis advised they have pulled it off the shelf to ensure that it is indeed just the terpenes and not flavored in any additional way. 🤗

This much I can say. I do like these much better than their mints I have recently unboxed for you guys. Yes, I have more to try and unbox for ya’ll. Don’t worry; I will keep you in the know as we explore more 😘
Just in case you didn’t know, San Rafael is a brand that was acquired by Aurora and it trades under the ticker $ACB on both the TSX and NYSE. Some of the company’s recent struggles include lawsuits on false claims. Details can be found here:
Anyways, In my opinion, San Rafael is Aurora’s night in shining armor and I personally think they should ramp up and focus on these products as this is what the people clearly want FFS!

OK, but what is the chart saying again? Look at my previous weekly chart for the bigger picture. But from a more zoomed-in look here is what I currently am seeing as levels of resistance the bulls will need to break- enjoy 🍻
